Newsrooms and Social Media – Let’s Discuss

It’s a love-hate relationship. On the one hand, social media helps publishers spread their word far and wide – for ‘free’. On the other hand, social networks and Google are cannibalising media’s advertising revenue stream. And then there’s everything in-between.

Some publishers – like BuzzFeed or Attn – exist and thrive in large part thanks to social media. Some established publishers like The Economist use social media to appeal to younger audiences, ultimately expanding their paid subscriber base. And still others fight the growing social media influence through legislation.

As a company that helps publishers grow traffic and engagement, we discuss social media in newsrooms daily. This November, right before Slush, we’re inviting journalists and media professionals to join that conversation.

What?
Newsrooms X Social Media – a cozy event that gathers media pros to exchange insights on how to use social media in a newsroom.

At the event you’ll learn:

This event is decidedly small, so make sure you register for your free entry.

We hope you’ll find yourself having fruitful discussions, learning new things and connecting with new colleagues from the industry.
